NOWis the Time to Invest in Fayetteville’s Future!

On September 15th, Fayetteville voters have the opportunity to vote FOR a plan to build a new, 21st Century Fayetteville High School for our kids, our community, and our future. By voting FOR a new high school, we will not only be building an up-to-date educational facility where our children and teachers thrive, but will also be building a solid foundation for our city’s economic future to attract new businesses and good-paying jobs.

The current Fayetteville High School was built during the Korean War to accommodate a population of 17,000 and a graduating class of 145. Over the last 55 years Fayetteville has grown and now, with a population of 70,000 and a graduating class of more than 560, the current high school is cramped and lacks the technology to support 21st Century learning. The high school band cannot practice together in the same room at the same time and it would take five lunch periods to feed the entire student body in the cafeteria. Fayetteville High School has served our community well, but with new technology driving education, it wasn’t designed to prepare our children for 21st Century careers.

On September 15th, after years of public input about the future of our high school, we have the opportunity to vote FOR a new Fayetteville High School. For a small investment, we can make a commitment to Fayetteville’s kids, community, and future.
